Puff Bar surpasses Juul to become the favorite e-cigarette among American teenagers
Disposable e-cigarettes such as Puff Bar are now far more popular among teenagers than the refill products of the once dominant Juul brand. The preference of young people for e-cigarettes has also undergone tremendous changes. For many years, Juul has been considered the most popular brand among teenagers. Juul is a company that produces flash drive-like devices that use a pre-filled cartridge of nicotine e-liquid. Juul’s marketing approach attracts teenagers and has been criticized for it.
The company has repeatedly denied that it has deliberately targeted teenagers. But in the new report, more than half of smokers said they use disposable e-cigarettes, while about 29% said they use products based on refills. About 85% of juvenile smokers use products with flavors such as fruits, candies and mint. Less than 6% of high school smokers say Juul is their preferred brand, compared to 26% of smokers who use Puff Bar products. Puff Bar is a brand that produces disposable e-cigarettes in flavors such as Blue Razz and watermelon.
